Endless OS 6 is now officially available for the public use. Based on Debian GNU/Linux 12 “Bookworm”, Endless OS 6 is powered by powered by Linux kernel 6.5. The Endless OS Foundation, team behind the OS announces the general availability of Endless OS 6.
Endless OS 6 Released, What’s New ?
- Endless OS 6 comes with a new system-wide dark style preference which can be set in Settings → Appearance or any time from the system menu.
- Linux 6.5, bringing improved hardware support
- GNOME 43.9, bringing the refreshed user experience described above
- The Image Viewer app has been updated.
- GNOME Music app replaces the RhythmBox.

- GNOME Text Editor 46.1
- Epiphany (GNOME Web) 46.0 web browser
- Decibels 46.0 music player
- Loupe (Image Viewer) 46.2.
